The Oral History Committee

The Oral History Committee is responsible for interviewing long-time residents and recording memories of their life and times in the Willow Grove community and Upper Moreland Township. These first-person interviews are extremely vital and significant contributions to the heritage of the area. Generally, this information fills in the personal touches and adds to the cultural vitality leading to the overall development and growth of the community.

Anyone wishing to be interviewed or wanting to recommend an agreeable interviewee may do so by contacting the Association verbally or in writing by contacting the Oral History committee through the Contact page or by sending their request to UMHA Oral History, 117 Park Avenue, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

Those with previously written family histories are urged to submit their work to the Association by sending it to the address above. On occasion, excerpts from oral histories are printed in the Association newsletter “Moreland Memories.”
