The Association is dedicated to making a difference in this area of our community in several ways:
The Upper Moreland Historical Association is interested in information and artifacts of every day life. As such, we have been involved in archaeological digs of area sites since our inception and proudly display recovered objects retrieved during these digs.
Our collections include thousands of artifacts, documents, and photographs that tell the story of our community's past. The collection is displayed in the Joe Thomas Archives Room, throughout the township building, and in the library. Donations are always welcome!
We are dedicated to researching and preserving the histories of local businesses, industries, and professions. They are the foundation of our community and shape the unique identity of our area. Long-standing businesses that have made a positive impact are honored each year at our Annual Luncheon.
